“I want to see him once before I die,” Nakshatra told her psychologist Siddharth. “When you met him last?” Siddharth asked. “I last met him 21 years, 6 months, 2 days and 17 hours ago,” Nakshatra said with a serene smile.
“Are you Siddharth?” Someone tapped on his shoulder and asked. Siddharth came out of his trance and nodded. “Hi! I am Abhinav. Where is Nakshatra?” Abhinav said in a worried tone. Siddharth asked the nurse to give them scrubs. The nurse took them to the ICU where Nakshatra was lying on the bed, surrounded by machines. Siddharth and Abhinav entered the ICU, Nakshatra saw Abhinav, smiled under her oxygen mask, and closed her eyes forever.
“She finally met him after 21 years, 9 months, 5 days and 12 hours. I do not want you to wait for so long,” said Siddharth with a serene smile to his childhood friend Natasha. He took out two wedding bands from his pocket and hugged Natasha.
